To refer a friend, simply fill out the form below with you and your friend’s information. Your friend will receive an email with your message and information about Lakeview Collection.
Resident Referral Rules & Regulations
- Referral payment amount will be $500 for each studio or one bedroom apartment a referred resident leases or $1,000 for each two bedroom or larger apartment a referred resident leases.
- Referral payment will be made in the form of a rent credit to be given when the referred resident moves into their new apartment. In no event will a cash payment be made to a referring resident for any portion of a referral payment.
- The total referral payments a resident may receive during a 12-month period may not exceed the lesser of $5,000 or two months of the referring resident’s rent, whichever is less. These limits apply per apartment unit and not per individual resident.
- Referring resident is not allowed to perform certain activities that require an Illinois real estate license, including but not limited to: 1) showing prospective residents apartments, 2) discussing terms and conditions of leasing a unit with a prospective resident, 3) or otherwise participating in the negotiation of the leasing of an apartment.
- To be eligible for a referral payment, referring resident’s name(s) must be provided during the initial tour.
- To be eligible for a referral payment, referring resident must live in the same building as the referred resident’s new apartment at the time referred resident moves in.
- To be eligible for a referral payment, referred resident’s new lease must be for a term of 12 months or greater.
- To be eligible for a referral payment, referred resident must not have used the services of a broker.
- To be eligible for a referral payment, referring resident must be in good standing at both the time referred resident signs their lease and the time referred resident moves into their new apartment.
- To be eligible for a referral payment, referred resident may not be a current or former resident of any current or former Wirtz properties.
- To be eligible for a referral payment, neither referring resident nor referred resident may be a current or former employee of Wirtz Realty or any of its related entities.
- Sublease agreements are not eligible for referral payments.
